Jason D. Pickup DMD, MBA, PC
Jason D. Pickup DMD, MBA, PC graduated from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, where he also concurrently completed the arduous Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Lee School of Business. He subsequently then completed his 4 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency specialty training at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville Tennessee.
Dr. Pickup is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and in addition has achieved status of Fellow within the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Pickup is a full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with expertise ranging from advanced bone grafting techniques and dental implants to corrective jaw surgery, wisdom teeth removal and maxillofacial trauma & pathology. He has a special interest in management of wisdom teeth and dental implants with state-of-the-art safe and comfortable anesthesia for patients of all ages
With offices in Kingsport, Johnson City and Bristol, all equipped with the most current and advanced systems of diagnostic imaging, anesthesia monitoring and patient care. He and his outstanding staff are continually committed to providing compassionate care of the highest quality in a timely and considerate manner.
As a member of the hospital staff at Holston Valley Medical Center, Bristol Regional Medical Center and Johnson City Medical Center, Dr. Pickup provides emergency care to patients with complex maxillofacial trauma. He is regularly re-certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Dr. Pickup enjoys spending time with his wife Courtney, and five children (3 girls and 2 boys) Macee, Logan, Parker, Brooklyn and Morgan. His hobbies include his family, church, participating in numerous sports and spending time outdoors hunting and hiking.
